Are you licensed and insured?
Yes we carry $2 million liability and worker's compensation insurance. We hold valid business licenses.
How much does it cost to have my Christmas lights installed?
Our prices are extremely reasonable and depend on a number of factors including how many light strands you require, the height and difficulty of installing the lights, and of course the time it takes to install the lights. We take great care in every job in order to provide you with the most professional Christmas display in town. Many residential jobs can be done for under $200. We are more than happy to meet with you to determine what you have in mind and provide you with a free estimate that fits your budget.
Do you take down the lights after Christmas?
Yes! We will ensure the safe removal of your lights after the holiday season. Removal service will begin on January 2 or at a pre-arranged time that suits your needs. For a small fee we will store your lights for you until next Christmas. No more looking for where you may have stored them and no sorting out tangled cords!
Why should I use your Commercial grade LED lights? The retail stores have cheaper ones!
All lights used by Superior Holiday Lighting are commercial grade LED lights that utilize code-conforming heavy 18-gauge wire. All light strands come with a 2-year warranty to protect your investment. Furthermore, we guarantee your lights will remain in place and looking great all season long. Most retail store cannot make such a guarantee. See our warranty section for full details.
Each 25-foot strand uses only 8.75 watts of power, which translates in up to a 98% saving on your power bill. Better for the environment and easier on your wallet is a winning combination! Our lights come with a two year warranty. You could buy the cheaper lights, however we believe you will end up saving money in the long run with ours.
When should I book my install?
Our calendar fills up extremely quickly. We recommend you book your installation by October 31 to ensure your lights are hung with plenty of time until Christmas.
Who uses your service?
Many people find our service useful during this hectic time of year. Most people want to devote more time to visiting with family and friends instead of standing outside on a ladder in the cold weather. Many senior citizens take advantage of not risking a serious injury and hire us for their holiday lighting needs. Superior Holiday Lighting makes a great gift. The gift of safety and time is irreplaceable to most families.
Will you hang my old Christmas Lights?
Yes, however we cannot guarantee our work if we install your old lights. Superior Holiday Lighting highly recommends that for the first year you use our services you purchase our commercial grade LED lights. It will save you money on power and we guarantee our work. We will still hang your pre-bought lights at your request, however in the event your lights fail, burn out, or become disconnected, we will charge a service fee to re-attend your house/business and fix them. We will not install old, faulty lights that pose a fire hazard.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash and cheque payable to Superior Holiday Lighting. Payment is due by December 31. All outstanding balances will be billed a 2% fee on the 1st day of every subsequent month the account remains delinquent beginning on January 1. All cheques returned NSF will be subject to a $50 NSF fee.
